That is gorgeous. Do you know what year it's from?
-

Agree, it's a freaking beauty. I'd dibs it but don't have the money to spend at the moment :(
Judging by the decals I'd say it's fairly recent, late 80s or so? —wait, late 80s isn't recent. I'm old.

That's lovely. I've got a 1990 AA Special in the same colour/decals, so guess this is a late 80s model. In my humble opinion, these bikes ride great so someone will surely get a nice bike at a bargin price.
Good luck with the sale Steelarts and if you come across any in a 55/56, then let me know.

It's well posible that this is Erik Breukink's former bike, but then it has been repainted. For the rest, it has all th features and correct size.
Erik never raced a bike in this colour and these decals. He rode this colour Gazelle Blue Nr. 15, but with an Ivory 81 seat tube panel, with the old style decals, Gazelle-Vredestein Team Colours.
After that he switched to SKALA team bikes (plain white nr 67 (?) with blue decals, no rainbow stripes, see Zieleman's track frame from Ron Groen). But the dealer who put his decal on this frame (Geert Eskes, Steenderen) lives very nearby the Gazelle building (he can walk and take a small ferry across the river) and always had a good relationship.
Think that he got an older team bike, had it repainted and insisted on keeping the name on it.
If you want to know for sure, try to contact Mr. Eskes. I think he will be glad to help you.Judging by the fork crown, it's from his amateur team, so it will be from 1nd half 1980's, 1985 latest.
Check frame number and compare with database on http://fivenineclimber.com/bikes/gazelle/misc/serial_numbers.htm -

Looks like it's 1983.
As I said before, it's 1985 latest. Think 1983 is correct. Again, new paint job. -

def. new paintjob

This is a beautiful bike! I ahve an AA Frame that echoes this paintjob. It was repainted at Gazelle factory around 1990, but my frame is from late 70s... This is clearly later with the top tube routing etc.. Good luck with sale of what is a georgous bike!

i have pretty much the same frame in the same colour, also a late 70's frame, that was resprayed at the gazelle factory and also the ugly new style decals on it.
