Hi, my lever is Gold, I've changed colour scheme and ant it silver.
There's none available that I can find in silver, so how can I paint it? Spray paint? Armourtex??
I don't like the Dirty Harry - too big.
Don't want it to flake off and look shit.
Any tips??
it can be sandblasted first to bring it to a mat colour then you can spray it any colour you like and there will be a good bond, its not worth spraying whilst its still polished mate or it´ll just scratch off all the time but youll never get a polished silver mirror finish with paint so its best to wait or just put up with it till you get a new one

^^ No.
well sand blasting it worked a treat with something that i did for someone and they spayed it whatever colour they wanted, but then i have access to the tools to do it so took me 10minutes to blast with sand, but it was never gonna be a polished look, to tell the truth i personally couldnt be fuct with any of that shit, id just go out and get a new one. Its an awful lot to do over something so cheap if you ask me unless its a restoration project me thinks or your tarting it up to be sold

Well I cant find one in silver, and this is the one I want.
I dunno why but every fucking component I decide on seems impossible to get in silver.
Fucking silver is fucking standard. Fuck.
I guess my bike will look shit til they bring out a silver one again. Cheers guys.

Or you could just listen to the advice given?
Caustic Soda, some water and metal polish and 2 minutes later you have a silver lever.
