guy is fully diesel, a wonderful physique. is that 6 or 7 plates on the bar behind him at the start? either way thats not a deadlift to be sniffed at... the oly lifts are huge too. and the kettlebell/plate juggling. add to this the gymnastic ability, and the guy is incredibly impressive. great find OP!

I have been training for strength for a few months now and am starting to see some results. I can now comfortably squat and dead-lift double my bodyweight.
this guy is amazing.

I don't really film myself. Sorry.

Yeah, but check the gut on the first guy. Strong he is. Ripped he ain't.

I'm into most things weight lifting wise, though you wouldn't know it to look at me. Powerlifting/strongman that kind of thing, the lean lifters like Kroc/Konstantinov particularly, regardless of the gear use.
'Gymnastic' strength is incredible(don't know what else to call it), not sure I could do some of it ever.

Good answer. Any other would have marked you as a vainglorious peacock.
I see your dad raised you differently. He showed me his class from the second he went to Trevor Jarvis for a bike.

The fact that bolton came back a year after a double knee surgery to lift the same again is even more impressive:

KK is a beast, have you heard him speak?
Rezzazadeh is a legend. Shame he got ill and retired before 2008 olympics.
Have you heard of John Broz and the teenage kid he has been training? Ungodly strength.

haha. The lo pro is awesome. He is still debating over a flying gate, though my step mum is trying to put a halt to this bike madness! (he has about 15 at the mo). He has just built up his Roberts touring bike (i'll get pictures soon) and it is lush, though huge!

Hadn't heard about that lift, that the current raw record? What do you reckon to geared lifting?

@hobo, double your bodyweight for a proper squat (that a powerlifting judge would pass)
Most feds accept fairly high squats from what I have seen. Plus deadlift should be significantly higher than squats, if its isnt it nearly always hints at poor depth on the squat.
(not dissing hobo or anything) Im pretty close to 2xBW deadlift, but squat is only at 1.5xBW. Thats the typical ratio.

I've been shot with a riot gun.
Not sure if that counts.

I've seen that vid but haven't heard of his trainer, it's mental. I'm sure you've heard of him, another ridiculously strong teen. I really need to get to the gym...

overhead squat
On no you didnt post that!!
Saw that a good while ago and made me feel massively inferior.

Its fine and dandy, you still gotta move the fucking weight. People who use gear appropriately are still fucking strong, and the gear probably helped them to get that strong with added safety. Its not like gear is forced upon people, you want to lift raw you can.
I just dont like the fact that some raw feds will allow a belt but not knee sleeves.
also, gear helps the deadlift very little, especially conventional stance.

@hobo, double your bodyweight for a proper squat (that a powerlifting judge would pass) and deadlift is pretty awesome!! These are by one I assume? If you're repping them, even more awesome!!
I've been lifting fairly consistently and am well short of hitting those targets- maybe this winter!!
I can do 5 reps at double my bodyweight (180kgs) with deadlifts. My 1 rep max is 195kg. I don't think I can realistically go much higher purely due to previous injuries (i have pins in my left leg and I have dislocated my shoulders, wrists, fingers and elbow numerous times).
My main source of pride is achieving a 3 full one armed chin ups.

Another thing to make us guys who cannot press anywhere near BW feel inferior.

This is what im aiming for:
YouTube- amazing acrobat
Im not really into getting any bigger.
... as in strength feats, gymnastics, weightlifting, kettlebells and all that ?
This is pretty inspiring if so. Thought it was a little too good to stick in the "Epic Win" thread. Video sums up a lifetime of awesomeness and puts that "100 push ups" challenge in perspective.
