Cafe's / Pubs in South Birmingham

i'm looking for a pub or cafe stops in south brum for the odd weekend ride that i do. I only really know the Peacock and the Red Lion nr Earlswood and don't know any cafes at all.
if you know of any good ones let me know

the pub in tanworth is nice...can't remember what its called, its in the village centre though.

I think people sit on the grass in the centre.
