Anyone riding in it? Anyone ridden it before? What's it like?

I'm definitely going to schlep along to watch.

Have a half baked idea of entering the folding bike race - pinstripe suit, FT, bowler hat and Brompton. Yay or nay?

Nope, first year racing for me. Having watched a few it would seem the ability of the field will be fairly mixed with some taking it very seriously and some in it just for a giggle.

Looking forward to it though.

Haven't ridden it yet! Reasonable chance I'll have a moment of clarity on the day and will hide in the crowd drinking beer like a normal person.

I wouldn't worry about how well you do, everyone who enters gets such a good cheer from the crowd, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I think it's one of THE highlights of the night, I actually find the 'real' racing (especially the big one) a bit tedious after the first few laps.

According to the Nocturne web page the Rolla's'll be there afternoon and evening.

LFGSS will be there too. Not racing, we're going to have a stall beside LMNH. They'll be selling some beer (hopefully) and we'll be selling some T-shirts (because what else am I to do with several hundred shirts filling up my flat).

This all brings me on to another thing... does anyone have any contacts to make a LFGSS banner or something? I'm guessing we should prettify our stall. It's a 3m by 4m space apparently.
