Next ride, social

We managed to get a few people together towards the end of last year so it seems time to sort something out for 2010. Any interest and thoughts on timing?

I can make most weekday evenings given a bit of advanced warning.

I was thinking about this only today.

Anyway, ride would be awesome. Lights a must still. That said, this week is out for me - next week not looking great either!

P.s. 48-17 now and it's taking a bit of getting used to. Did you say you had some foot retention devices for sale?

I've got a set of Nylon MKS straps which are excellent but I cut them short, and a set of crappy Christophe leather straps which are new-ish - both black. You can have either straps for free. I also have some old powergrips but once again, they are cut short and they ruin the upper of your shoes.

What else... I have some steel MKS steel toe clips size L (too big for me @ size 8 shoes) which are almost as new which you can have for a fiver.

Most weekday evenings are ok for me as I can run into town after work. For those that are pushed for time I guess it's best to offer up some dates and then we can work round that.

Dibs on the mks straps and fiver put to one side for the large toe clips.

My week is changing, could ride out thurs eve for hour or so at 5 if anyone fancies and the weather is still settled.

Can make thurs but probably not until about 6.

I'll hang onto the stuff for you.

If only there was an easy way to message everyone else. Greg is gone (but not forgotten), Si has a broken thumb, I've messaged Steve but he's gone posh and moved to Leam now so we'll see... there's another 10 peeps in the group and I'm tempted to drop them all a note but seriously cba to write 10 separate notes out. Lazy.

For Thurs thinking of heading to a pub on edge of town... Greyhound at Sutton Stop could be good, but suggest we go a bit longer way there?

Ride out to the Greyhound sounds good. You know the roads way better than me so chose whatever you think is a good way.
