That's a good daily commute :) There's some folks play bike polo in Leamington, maybe post in the Brum forum for info as I think one of the guys there plays with them. Amy (also works at Warwick uni) sorted it when I went, I'll email and ask if they're still playing.

I'm living in Leamington next academic year, whereabouts you living? I'm on Tachbrook road. Look forward to it even more now if there's bike polo there regularly! And I've never done the journey there via bike, but it's about 8 or 9 miles, isn't it? Not too bad!

Hey Andy. I emailed Amy a few weeks before Christmas but had no response. Let me know if she replies :)
Joseph, I think I saw you today on campus, hurtling down the main Uni road (heading away from Costcutter/arts centre). Didn't recognise the bike untill you'd gone past!
I'm on the far end of Beverly Road now, near Guyscliffe Ave (sort of North/West Leam).

Ha, yeah, was probably me, that road is a dream to race down to maths on (now living at Cryfield) because it's slightly downhill, just all the milling students which scare me! I think I can get up to 25mph on that road, not sure though, don't want to say too much in case I'm wrong, but when my dad dropped me off at the beginning of term he was driving at 20mph around that road and it was pretty slow, ha!

PS: Were you on your bike? I've been looking out for it!

No no, was walking with a mate to the SU for lunch. I'm based on Westwood so don't normally get over to main campus. Was a rare treat to see the lovely ladies etc etc :)
Started moving flats today and managed to move more than I thought, so I'm now officially living in Leamington. Am I still alowed to post here? ;)
Not got my bikes with me yet, so on the bus tomorrow. Kinda sucks but then 18 miles a day also sounds a bit un-apealing in this weather!
