That is stunning! If I didn't have a wife and three other projects on the go I would have to have this. Maybe its worth it even costing in the price of divorce :)

i'm really glad that is so big.
otherwise the money earmarked for my girls birthday present would have been spent, that's gorgeous.

Just as I was thinking I could do with a prime slice of Italian steel up pops this beauty.
I don't suppose you're doing a "buy now, pay in 2012" offer on it by any chance?? ;)All the best with the sale, but I don't think you'll need any luck with this one mate.
Btw, I'm totally loving the TVT.

I'll take it, but it's a gash paint job. I was thinking of a baby blue powder coat. Can anyone recommend me someone to do it please? And is a dremel good to take off those nasty braze-ons?

• #17
what sort of inseam length and height rider will this fit perfectly please? ta
-
• #18
Thankfully to big. It would be mine, I tell ya!
-
• #19
this would suit riders with an inseam of 87-89 cm. like me... hmmm... but I already bought a very nice very classic Dutch frame & fork from mr Zieleman* and my own Colnago is exactly the same size so... as unjustifiable as can be ;)
but at that price, it's a bargain I'd say
- will be in contact, haven't secured a storage place yet...

Thanks for all your nice comments
That is 'lovely' must have thought the guy that took it too. The 'nago found a new happy owner.

Wild paintjob - loooooooovely
Offering NOS Colnago Crystal frame and fork
Nicely made in Italy in the mid/late 90s. The Crystal uses special drawn Columbus Crystal tubing. The mid sections of the downtube and the toptube are ovalized in drop (dt) and oval (tt) shape. The Crystal sat between the Tecnos/Master X-light and the C-97/Classic models.
Of course present is the Colnago typical detailing: Clover leafs engravings in fork crown, lugs, drop outs, bb shell etc. Chromed headlugs and drop outs. The paint design is known as 'Art Decor' and is for sure one of the most legendary designs in 90s cycling.
Another legendary feature: The 'Precisia' straight blade fork for, how they called it; "razor sharp handling".
Original retail: 2260 guilders  ...according to the sticker on the toptube.
