  • if anyone has amazon account - can you give this book

How to Live in the Here and Now: A Guide to Accelerated Enlightenment, Unlocking the Power of Mindful Awareness: Amazon.co.uk: Paul Jones: Books

    a quick good review?

and possibly tick all the tag boxes on that page you can (15) - all you do is click on them ?

it takes no money, and carries no obligations - just a couple of minutes.

overseas members? -- amazon.com would be great - not so popular over there yet

thanking you loads in advance - it might help me stave off a 9 to 5 a little longer and help me persuade publisher to take a second book

    Paul

  • Done.

  • I used to be obsessed with eckhart and all this stuff, is it just a load of bullshit? not wanting to be rude but would an enlightened being be plugging his book on a forum?

  • apologies - not asking anyone here to even look at it let alone buy it - so not plugging here- and not making any claims about myself

    • just trying any magnanimous contacts to drum up some reviews.....

p.s. i don't really rate tolle so much - all context and no substance

  • like i said, not trying to be rude, genuinely interested. Yeah I found tolle hard work, I might give your book a whirl.

  • Are you asking us to favourably review a book we haven't read?

  • He is, and I have.
If it helps a bloke avoid the nine to five, helps him in the job he's doing, then I'll give five minutes of my time.
Maybe a tad dishonest, but fuck it.
    Good luck to the bloke.

  • Read it Dan and give us a synopsis ;)

  • Product Description

Is this as good as life gets? How can I be happy? What is the meaning of life? In Live in the Here and Now, Paul Jones rescues enlightenment from the specialists, the superstitious and the pious and makes it available to everyone and anyone through a simple step by step process. Enlightenment is available to 'you', right here, right now. Enlightenment is not the learning experience itself, but the practice in everyday life of that learning. So once I became enlightened what did I do? I washed the dishes and did the ironing. The creation of Accelerated Practical Enlightenment represents the biggest development in enlightenment technology since someone, somewhere, thousands of years ago decided to meditate. The destination remains the same, and now you can effortlessly get there so much faster.Accelerated Practical Enlightenment is concerned with managing the human condition. The direct installation of beliefs and behaviors will allow 'you' to live happily and peacefully in an everyday context wherever you find yourself.

  • having just taken another look at the title.. i might pass reading it but put up a very useful comment.. something on the lines of "it changed my life" "I can never look at my mother the same again" "The ending had me in tears" etc

  • The Butler did it.

  • hi -

dan- yes to be honest - a good review for something you haven't read is exactly what i'm asking. of course if anyone else gives it a whirl - but i'm not expecting that. (dan - love the avatar - is it powel peralta - skateboard stuff from years ago? )

passepartout thanks for grabbing the synopsis - that was a rough i did with as much hyperbole as possible - and the publisher just ran with it - it should have been tamed down a little.

greasy slag - thanks that would be great.
