I might be tempted this year. 84 laps!!!!!!!! How long, roughly, does this take?
-
• #4
a million years
-
• #5
I keep meaning to time the 20k, but always forget to look at the clock.
Is it really a million? That *is *a lot! -

I think they did the entire race in about 55 minutes last year. I got dropped after 40 laps, it was noticeably faster than the 20 k scratch race on Wednesday nights.
-
• #7
hhhmmmmm. Sounds a bit silly.
-

You should do it Tom. You're always up there in the 20 k, what's the worst that can happen anyway?
I'd do it again if I could, but it's my mum's 65th that day and there would be a major diplomatic incident if I didn't turn up with her grand daughter!

It sounds right up my street if i wasn't at a stag party that weekend!
I would say that i'll consider coming to the 25 instead but that would be a lie!

Good post. Another meeting worth [STRIKE]mentioning[/STRIKE] completely forgetting about is the SCCU Roadmans 25 mile track meeting on the 18th of June.

The coinciding women's omnium at the SCCU Roadmans was the one victory I had last year, wish I could do it again but will also be away :( Shame, since there are so few of these and there will be even less if there's no support. 25 miles looked brutal/ly fun.

You bossed that last year. Meanwhile I was getting beaten by old fellas in the vet's omnium. :-|
-
• #13
vets!
hmmm...not long now...

What's all this London Track Championships then?
And if it includes a pursuit - which I'd love to do - why is this on the same day as my stag do?

That's unfortunate timing!
London champs is the first time we have had an actual London's famous London championships in it's own right as a region.
Criteria is that you must be London based for individual events and in a London based club for team events if you want placing.
Expect VCL to do some clearing...
