shit man thats all you had to say!
We are transplanting out a whole heap of stuff today. broad beans/cauli/berlotti/red chard/asparagus pea.. in fact nearly everything shot.we has no room for any new plants but i'll stick a load of seedlings in a tray for you.
you in during the week? -

get yourself down morrisons
buy a 5kg bag of maris piper
get the 5 biggest spuds and just plonk them in the ground
they'll take care of the seeding themselves
i chucked some out on the compost heap a month or so back and they are already in full leaf and growing
alternatively your local garden centre

^^ wot he said. Can you actually eat that amount of spuds Wayne? You get a lot out of those sack things.
But, you have prompted the thread that Jayloo and I were talking about a while ago. Plant swap
I'll have some sunflowers in a week or so if anyone wants any?
Will have lettuce spare (various) in about 2 weeks once I plant them out, plus hopefully some spinach, parsnips, beets, sweetpeas etc.

I like your thinking - I've managed to grow too many chilli plants again this year -Super Chilli (Capsicum annuum) and 'Kevin out of the office' variety - which were also quite hot.
I know that later on when I repot everything using my worn compost I'll get a tonne of unplanned tomato plants too.
Anyone up for seed swapping too? I know I rarely manage to use all the ones I have - I've also got a load of wildflower seeds too.

BRM is the man with the chillis from hell. I'm still working my way through last years crop from him, and should think about potting up some of the seeds, but everytime I do, June Carter's Ring of Fire pops into my head.
I'd love some wildflower seeds though, and will have heaps of forgetmenots in exchange.

Off the top of my head I've got some Bergamot, cornflowers, poppy, wild garlic (for the autumn)vipers bugloss and a couple of others ... I tend to use them for a bit of guerilla gardening every now and then as I have little room on my balcony.
I'll do a list.

poppy...... Sweet!

Please can someone take some tomato plants off my hands. I have a million too many. Lovingly raised and ready to plant out, but the majority now need saving before I chuck them on the compost. I also have spare runner bean plants and courgette plants. Pick up Brockley :)

• #19
I'll take some of those, we've been really slack getting our terrace veggie plot together... This would be perfect... :]
-
• #20
Think I'm in the same boat with the tomato plants.
Some chilli would be nice.

They're about 6-8 inches high at the mo, (in plastic cups as i ran out of plant pots), i suppose you could put a few cups in a larger pot inside a carrier bag and transport them off your handlebars without hurting them. PM me for address.
Anyway, sorry, has anyone got any seeding potatoes for BDW? :)

East Dulwich: Free organic seed potatoes and onions
I've only got a window box thing going on so far this year, but have one or two teeny tiny bell pepper and basil seedlings going spare if anyone wants to do swaps?
or a garden - If you've got any seeding potatoes that need a new home I'd be most appreciative
