As the previous vote hung, I am starting a new poll.

Please note:

15th & 16th May are not included as it's too close to hold a vote and organise it.
30th May will not be included as it conflicts with the Cambridge Tournament.

Starting at 12, throw-ins all day, fundraising beers and BBQ food for sale, finish at sun-down (or move to the pub if people are still standing)?

Bill and Jon are sorting the beer, BDW has a large grill, I can supply fundraising food and charcoal/utensils, unless people would just rather bring their own to cook?

Unfortunately, as no one can verify that you voted for the 22nd and 23rd (It's an anonymous poll) the number stays.

June 6th is the Lille invitational - can we please also omit the 5th and 6th since they conflict?

Only if we took the 22nd & 23rd out as they conflict with the Paris/Nike tournament?

Every weekend will always clash with something else, and some people wont be able to make it, whatever date it is. I think you should just leave the poll as it is, and whatever date wins, should be stuck with.

I'm in agreement with Kevin on this one.

I can't make the date which is currently in the lead but at least it's a vote by the community as opposed to a tied vote then a decision by a minority.

Just me own personal €0.02 thoughts by the way.

Does it do any harm to take off days that have a european polo tournament conflict? I think that makes a lot of sense.
Otherwise we should probably include May 30th. Sounds like as good a finishing day to me as any.

under that logic, we'll never have this done. leave it as is, the majority already want 22nd!

That's an outright lie, the majority was split between the 15th and the 22nd and a few people, you being one of them, then said let's just call it the 22nd.

This revote was an attempt to gain an actual consensus, however if people are unhappy with this revote as it covers other tournaments then we should agree another revote which excludes tournament dates.

This situ sums up the current state of london polo ...the polo community is getting bigger! This is rad, but to decide on a date which is going to please eveyone is becoming increasingly impossible.

Lets be honest, most people aren't in a position where they can fit life around polo. So let's just offer the most options which do not conflict with other major events (ie polo tournies) then go with the final date that the majority decide on.

If some teams still havent finished all their fixtures by that date, forfiets have to be taken.

The longer we let this go on for, the harder it will be for people to choose a date.

if you don't want the party to be on the weekend of a tournament, don't vote for it to be on the weekend of a tournament.

Some other tournament might crop up if you have another re-vote.

I'd say just leave it as it is.
Events will always clash. Sometimes people will miss out. I work every second Saturday so there's a strong chance I might miss out too... c'est la vie.

Can we have an STV system, or at least AV? Better would be PR, of course, so that the minor teams get some representation in the house.
