    MKM "ultimate" tt frame.
beautiful metallic blue colour, superlight fillet brazed tubing, seatube placed ahead of bb for a wheelbase just short of wheel overlap, track dropouts with a rear derailleur hanger and a single downtube shifter mount, nothing intrusive. Decals have been removed as they were just ugly vinyl jobs, leaving the logo in the paintwork where the vinyl adhesive had reacted with the topcoat - pretty sweet looking.
seat tube 56cm ctc top tube 53 ctc but the angle of the seat tube means the effective tt once the seatpost is inserted is much more sensible.

    unknown grasstrack frame
this was my work bike for a while and has seen its fair share of abuse and love - frame was powdercoated black recently and is being sold with the original twinplate fork which the previous owner drilled.

    Mercian micro tt frame

This, i'm pretty sure, was a custom job from the golden days of time trialling innovation - fully fillet-brazed, miniscule standover (45cm seat tube), sculpted gussets on the head tube and bottom bracket, chainstay mounted rear brake mount, aero headtube, totally un-aero monostay all wrapped up in a totally modern fluoro paintjob. This must have cost a bomb and looks to have been used very little - the previous owner burned out a stuck seatpost which ruined(?) the paint and i had the vague idea to resuscitate the whole beast. i didn't.

Jesus, this is working out a little more massive than i thought so i'm going to call it a day on this one for the mo. There will be more, apologies in advance. If i flog a fair bit i'll donate 10% to the forum - if it all turns into "fuck off to ebay.." then i'll buy a round of cake at the cycle jumble on sunday.

by the way - dibs schmibs, pm's only. collection sw16 or sw1/central.

i'm pretty sure this post'll fall foul of the spam filters in a bit anyway so feel free to quote me for posterity...

  • wow, you have some pretty special frames there. Amazing.

  • cracking selection.
The forks on the unkown black grass track frame look like they have been crashed, is that so?

  • dibs black nitto B123s PM'd

    Cheers

  • @porter - many thanks man - i wish i had enough time to build all the projects i start. Incidentally are you still in the vinyl-cutting business? - i might have a project for you....

@harry - i think pretty much everything has happened to them to be honest, i took them off the frame quite early into using it but they've not had anything like a massive enough impact to bend them

they look fine in the flesh so i'll re take the photo tomorrow to allay any fears.

  • literally ridiculous....
I think I'm in love with the Mercian.

  • Interested in the mercian, what height would that be suitable for. Usually fairly good at sizing myself but the seat tube is giving me a bit of a nightmare, any suggestions?

  • Fuck off to eBay ;-P

I am fucking with you, nice stuff. Wish I could afford one of those chainrings.

  • Some gorgeous stuff here.

  • MKM ultimate... :-0

  • The MKM is soo cool.

  • dibs kashimax tt protector

  • What size is the cannondale? If it is between a 55 and 57 and you don't mind posting I'll take it

  • joe, soperiva/henry is technically on it and posting bikes is such a pain, but it is a 56 and there is nothing firm yet so i'll have a word with him and let you know by tomorrow night ok?

  • yep thats cool, could potentially get a mate to grab it for me in london too

  • @micycle - the micro tt style was to keep the frame as low as possible while enjoying a mahoosive seatpost - try looking up flickwg's posts in the current projects thread for an idea of how it shoud(n't) look :)

i'd say it'd suit you if you usually ride a 56 - 58-ish (calling mr. tester for a confirm on that one) plus your choice of bars'll make all the difference...

  • @porter - many thanks man - i wish i had enough time to build all the projects i start. Incidentally are you still in the vinyl-cutting business? - i might have a project for you....

I am indeed, drop me a PM. Pretty busy at the moment so bare with me if i don't message back straight away.

  • great news- will do.

  • I need to flounce this forum.... too. much. temptation. i'm. out. : (.

  • Nuno, you don't have any business card of a good divorce lawyer by any chance?

  • Why, do you want to sell him anything?

  • @the OP:
Amazing stuff here, really my kinda sale.
Would go on one of those frames, just to compensate for the Scanini, but no... must resist.
Good luck with the sale ; )

  • I could do with these Shamals, but they are bit too tired (pinched) and I have 650 front already, just need to swap track rear for the 8 speed one...

Well, good luck with the sale and bump.

  • pm'ed.

  • whats spacing is the goldtec? dibs if 135mm..

    and the mkm is amazing!
