The bike is in Gloucester at the moment - it's being brought up to London (Stoke Newington) next weekend.
I'll put the offer to the guy who has asked me to post this (may just PM you his details if he's ok with that)

Restoration Project/ Conversion Material:*
A good non forum mate of mine has asked me to advertise his brother's old bike for him.
It's a 1978 Carlton Pro Am owned from new by the vendor from TG Halls of Eastgate Street Gloucester.
Size 23” in old money /Reynolds 531 tubing/ Brooks leather saddle/ Weinmann side pull brakes/ 12 speed transmission with SunTour derailleurs.
It is all completely original, apart from the wheel rims and tyres – even the original frame fit pump is included.
Components were state of the art midrange lightweight bike bits back in the late 70s so may need an update now.
Dropouts are suitable for an easy conversion to SS/ Fixed.
£185 ono for an unmolested (albeit needing a bit of tidying) 531 tubed Brooks seated bit of British Cycling history?
