Wanted: lend me les equipes sans clips?

After 50 Fixed Women ride, when I managed my first ever full on skid stop (on dry pavement), I realized I definitely want to try clipless for longer than just a few loops around a green. Then, yesterday my left toe clip snapped en route home. Apparently no one has small metal toe clips. Plus, I've decided that this is the universe's way of telling me to go clipless. I now have five (5) days to learn how to ride clipless in traffic before I need to commute again. So, does anyone have some pedals and/or 5.5 mountain bike clipless shoes I can borrow? I'm happy to supply beer/cider/biscuits/otherbakedgoods (cliveo can attest to my biscuit skillz) in exchange for the lend.

you only ever do that once though....well...except for the other day when i unclipped and put all my weight on slippery cleat, which in turn was on slippery curb and everything slipped out from underneath me :(
