Have an 80 GB 4th (? could be 4.5) one which plays back fine but doesn't seem to enjoy syncing anymore.
I dropped it and broke teh screen, got it replaced, but guess there's still something a bit dodgy with the hard drive (it makes a beep noise when it's trying to sync)

I have a 80GB 5th Gen ipod classic that’s yours if you can retrieve the photos on there for me. Apparently the hard drive is corrupted and I mistakenly have deleted the files elsewhere (the ipod hard drive was my back up), so now that the hard drive is readable by my PC I’m in a bit of a pickle…
My brother had his Ipod nicked, can't afford a nice shiny new one.
I'm looking for a cheap / broken one which i can fix up for him.
I can collect in London.
Cheers!
