I was looking for a set of these until vvvvvvvvv recently. Damn your timing Adam!

Don't really want to sell them, as I really want another pair, just in silver, so my rubbish timing hasn't been a complete disaster :)

Why not just strip them, assuming they're anodised, with a bit of caustic soda should work.

Yeah, I thought about doing this and still might if I can't sort a trade, but thought I'd see if anyone wanted to trade them first.
Having a bit of a rebuild, swopped my old black wheelset, headset, stem, bars and seatpost for bright shiny silver ones, so a silver chainset would now be a better match. So if anyone's got a lightly used, unmarked set of 170mm (or 165/167.5mm) silver Omniums, but would prefer black, I'd be up for a trade.
Have just had a proper look at these and they aren't unmarked, black is still on the whole glossy and shiny, which why I was thinking they were unmarked, but they do have the odd scratch, mainly at the end of the cranks. I'll post some pictures.
