Mine's up for sale: http://www.lfgss.com/thread41675.html
Not quite gorgeous at the mo, but an excellent starting point (it's light and fast) for a respray and part swapping.

A freshly resprayed 1958 Raleigh Lenton? Reynolds 531, frame forks and headset for £115. I have lots of parts, so I could build a complete fixed/ss/derralieur/hub geared bike several ways, depending on what you like.
Is that interesting?

Boys - thank you both for kind offers and so very quick flagging - I'm afraid both fall into the area of slightly too much work required for me right now...albeit both defo. qualifying as interesting.
Can't believe ChrisL, you've not shifted it looks like a good solid machine at a fair price.
Gorgeousness is of course in the eye of the beholder... and if I had more time/patience could defo. find an excuse to play with either.
Can I say too Chris 667..... lurv that leather arm chair :-))

Cheers Bagheera. Bit of a funny one no one being interested. I'll give it till the end of the week, then I'll stick it on eBay.
Agree re the armchair, but it's really nothing without the setting - fireside, bare brick, hearth rug and floral wallpaper. Just needs a labrador and reefer to complete the picture.
Good luck with your search.

Ah, my dear old dad's house. Going there is like visiting Wickes, circa 1990.
I can't tempt you with it fully built by me?

I can be tempted by many things... but let's not go there right now.... the way things are going I'll be getting an OTP... AND then talking to you about yours as well, as I'll be too frightened to leave the OTP anywhere than hung above the fireplace getting dusted by the cleaner.... and as I said... yours does look excellent VFM! :-)
p.s. Worst thing is if I took pic's of my flat, and posted them on here I suspect I'd get ripped to shreds, so always good to be nice, as my Mum always taught me!

what's interesting about S/S bikes?, theres nothing to look at, no transmission, toss all...its all about the vintage tourers this week in London

It's about the simplicity of the engineering; the look, feel and touch.... of using every day and loving it... my experience of anything too vintage on the bike front is closer to the triumph of hope over experience....

I have a 58cm Capo with Dura Ace/Mavic Wheels and Campag Crankset and BB. Great condition alround with complete bontrager carbon front end.
Currently on the look out for a rear brake (105 new on front); therefore not using the bike currently.
PM me if interested

Let me show you my daily commuter:
62 years old and still in regular, hard daily use, or it was until recently.

*** doffs hat in full respect ***
I hope when I"m 62 I'm still able to take regular hard daily use!
Looking for an interesting SS asap, and prob going to be around a 58-60 frame.
Good budget for the right bike - last try or I'll buy/order an OTP at the weekend.
And a donation to the forum too if I find one here.
Yes I know this is vague, but that's the way it is. So for guidance saw a gorgeous Low-Pro a couple of weeks ago, sadly a tad too extreme for 7 day a week use.
Gorgeous (non-extreme) bike for 7 day a week use though is what is required.
All suggestions very welcome.
Many thanks!
