What did they break? Want me to enlist hippy and get some face killing started?
-
• #3
If they broke your 'spok, PM ASM Quickly, he has the last few available!
-
• #4
What damage did they do?
-
• #5
Ah shit! Kill them all!
-
• #6
Get two axes, an axe for each hand, and get some killing in.
-
• #7
The derraileur hanger (non replaceable on my beloved old Principia) is so badly mangled that the hole is not even round enough to get the der back again- I always remove the der for travel.
-

Mal asks "Seriously? What did they break?"
-
• #9
Ah theeeeenk we kill them all!

What did they do? Hammer the fucking back end of the bike repeatedly?
Insurance? I suppose qeasyjet has a "it's not our fucking problem" on bike damage like most other carriers..

I've got a nice Ribble you can use...
-
• #12
I think the old "let's throw the luggage out of the hold" trick was employed. I want a coke-a-cola polo bike ribble! Do you have such item??
-
• #13
This product you require is available. It is not cheap though... special price for you checks invoice £5000... ;)
-
• #14
What did the fuckos at weazyjet have to say about it?
-
• #15
something about Stelios' lunchbox got droped on the bike, the weight of that thing could break anything.....

• #17
Actually.. is it sleazyjet's fault or is it the unloading monkeys at the airport in question?
-
• #18
The latter. Easyjet, like all airlines, contract out their baggage handling services.
Always use a hard shell bike box if you're going to fly with a bike you cherish.
-
• #19
Bad luck btw Sherrit. :-(
-
• #20
Easyjet employs said monkeys so I would LNG differentiate between the two...
-
• #21
bad luck.
chin up - at least you're on holiday! -
• #22
Bad luck- and a reinforcement to driving down to Italy with the bikes in the back.
-
• #23
Did you use a hardcase bag or a box?
-
• #24
Sherrit, horrid news. Hope the hire bike is OK and that you enjoy the training camp. What type of bag did you use? Were any other bikes damaged?
-
• #25
should have gone ryanair
Waaaah!
I have come on a TRAINING CAMP -er, a CYCLING training camp, I was hoping to CYCLE on my BICYCLE. See shouting does make you feel better!
I really like my bike, the way it is set up, custom everything, ya know? So much that I spend time carefully padding it and removing the pedals etc etc and not just hiring a bike out here.... grrrrr!
I paid easy jet to transport my bicycle (not some obscure forbidden item in their 80 page list of exclusions.......) £20 or so, one way. Max pay out is around 1000 international secret spy units- about 700, apparently. Did I already say GRRRRR?
So gonna hire a bike tomorrow I guess.... it is at least nice and warm here.
Bah!
