I have here, before me, 950+ pages of pure German filth (the spring catalogue of Rose Versand GmbH). As I was leafing through the pages of this sordid opus I saw their prices for Brooks saddles.
The following from the catalogue:
[]Swallow 149 €
[]Swift 109.50 €
[]B17 (aged) 79.50 €
[]Flyer (aged) 79.50 €Has my mind gone or weren't the saddles far more pricey some time ago?
The prices of brooks have infact gone up!
3 years ago the RRP on a b17 standard was 44.99, then it rose to 49.99 and this year it reached £59.99.

have a look at yearly charts for €/£ rates. this may go some way to explain prices.
the brooks factory is running at full capacity so don't expect any price reductions when they can sell all they make at current prices. if anything they could raise prices so some of the workers could have their Saturdays back.
