i remember seein a chris akrigg section on some mbuk dvd a few years ago, it so progressive, the guy is amazing.

Yeah, he was definitely always a much more aggressive trials rider, whereas most previously were quite slow and calculated...he'd just go for it full speed. Definitely loads of BMX influence, but that's never a bad thing!

I hated all that lycra clad slow ass trials shit. Danny holroyd n chris akrigg were pretty much the best out there in my eyes. Bmx influence is always a good thing ;)

Interesting how he's using the camber of the rock's and the rock themselves as braking devices.
The whole thing looks gnarly! -

Indeed. Gnarly to the power of sick! Crazy bastard.

Haha! Yeah, you gotta have some balls to ride that kind of terrain brakeless.
Are you riding more trials now then? Looked like you were getting your flow on at the Farm the other week.

That's super impressive brakeless. Getting the power for some of that stuff without being able to lock your back wheel is hard. I used to ride trials when I was younger, Akrigg was definitely good back then.
Jeff Lenosky's another heavily BMX-inspired trials rider: [ame]http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xj66j_jeff-lenosky_extreme[/ame]

Hehe, yeah i'd like to have a bit more of a go, it's always been an interest of mine i guess. But i reckon i'm getting too old to get into properly, especially when you've got kids like Danny Macaskill ripping it up!

Dude rides like the Stevey Hamilton of the Trials world.
-

Less impressed by that Jeff character. He managed 3 whole trials moves in that video. He's just riding street BMX on a trials bike. Next thing you know he'll be doing it fixed...

Still shredding tho.

im not really into tricks... but that guys got some style. which is what it's all about.
i love the hop onto the ledge where he lands on the pedal and spins the cranks round.

epic, imagine him when actually gets used to riding fixed.
Seemed to be blasting about brakeless & strapless but im sure hes probably the only person that can handle it.

Someone sent me this today too.. He's just taking the piss though. It;s all tongue in cheek.
Still he's got amazing style as always - you can tell he rides big bikes from the way he pushes the bike around in the air.. Some of the videos of him riding full suss bikes are amazing, so creative.

ditto what Rob Said. very smooth!

He's already pissing all over some peeps who have been riding fixed for ages!
Skills.

Radder than rad

Half of that is done in Bath and Manchester. I love it when spots I know turn up.
He is fucking awesome, really skillful. If that's only after a week...
What's his background, BMX or trials?

What's his background, BMX or trials?
Trials, from back in the days when trials bikes were just small mountain bikes!!

-

That horse banking is not very steep at all, he would be shit on the track.
Dunno if anyone's mentioned this chappy on here before, but i knew of him from back in the day when i used to ride trials and stuff. It appears he's now trying to push MTB trials riding as far as he can. I guess a lot of what he's doing has probably already been done on BMX, but it's still bloody impressive. Take a look...
