2nds to that-normally when someone is selling a Colnago they send you pics with pantographing/clover cut out on BB shell. Not cropped pics....
This of course could just be a lack of experience taking photos, and if so you'll take no offence because you can just take new ones and post them up instead, in which case goody gum drops!

postage from holland is very cheap and quick.
Is it?
I guess around GBP 50.- for a bike.
Okay, cheaper than from US, but in that case you would only get the rear mech for this price. -

34EU from NL to UK complete bike so long as the box is less than 150cm long and the length + (width+height x 2) < 300cm.

people at the postoffice are lazy, if the box is bigger you just tell them its the right size, they wont even come of theyre seat, especially if you ask them where you need to put the box.
But full bikes also fit in frameboxes, just take the wheels out and the bars of, i think a 1,20 box and a width of about 40cm works fine, i usually fill the whole box up with foamie stuff i take from work, box is allowed to weigh up to 20kg

maybe the people in the postoffice are lazy but what happen if they will find out at the big office or when they go to ship it by train or plane?
-
• #24
They weren't lazy with me. I got some jobsworth who measured the box, saw it was 2cm too big and refused to let me send it. I had to go home and trim the box manually. Pain in the ass.

i shipped the gazelle to iro_dan in a huuuuge box, just took out the front wheel and sent it, 3 days later it was in London, its worth going to small postoffices, not the big ones, bu i guess you just need to be a bit lucky too.
