Are you seriously that unimaginative/uninspired?

No, there's just a list of places that we've already been to - Rio, Sri Lanka, Thailand, New York, South Africa, most of France, Spain etc.

Cheers PlasPeds. I just foolishly assumed that with such a wide range of people on here there'd be some suggestions as to where to go next. Everywhere that's hot gets professionally hot around about now (personally I can't really handle 45 degrees in the shade) and we're not into just laying around doing naff-all for a fortnight. Something to nourish the grey matter and a bit of beach-type malarky will go down a treat.

Croatia? You could combine some lounging on the coast (and exploring some of the gorgeous coastal towns/islands) with some time in Zagreb or Dubrovnik. Not too hot but surely sunny.

I havent heard a bad word said about Morocco, and know plenty of peeps who have been. its not too far, almost guaranteed sun, and not to expensive for a short break either.

Me and the Mrs went to Aruba late last year. Lovely weather and plently of places to explore too, I'd recommend it to anyone, also unlike a lot of other caribbean islands It's quite safe.

right now the idea of lazing on an island and eating fresh seafood seems really appealling
by that time of the year the med could be good, though not somewhere touristy

Fuck dat! ;-)
I have to book a holiday for my girlfriend and I. We're thinking last week of April/first week of May, but does anyone have any recommendations for anywhere not devoid of culture but also with decent sun?
All suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
I thank you!
