The Nottinghill ones are awesome and well worth the trip when coupled with Intoxica and Rough Trade :)

Peoples Sound Indie Records, All Saints Road if you are in to Jamaican music also a nice little bike shop further down the road.
You would have liked Mole Jazz shame they closed.

There's a decent place on Essex road but one of the blokes that works there (looks like Joe Zawninal from Weather Report) is a miserable cunt.
Another Thumbs up for sounds of the Universe: New stuff/represses ground floor Original bits basement

if you're near lewisham there is a shop in catford mews that sells old records. i haven't looked in there myself so don't know what the selection is like but records were spilling out of the door, very tempting for me but i was with the kids when i discovered it so no time to have a proper rummage.

if you stand under the catford cat then walk towards tesco about ten shopfronts along on your right is a walkthrough thingy with some random shops. half way through on your left is a cafe with seats/tables dotted about its around there somewhere. sorry if my directions are hard to follow (maybe it will add to the fun of finding it) could be bad/good... don't know.

About 50% of my entire record collection comes from these two shops.

Guapo there's this place up on the Lea Bridge Road, somewhere up in Leyton, that's meant to be a bit of a treasure trove of 50s 60s & 70s stuff.... I'll try to find out the name of it.

Ha, I've been up and down the Lea Bridge Road hundreds of times, but I don't think I've ever noticed a record shop. A cursory Google left me none the wiser. I'd certainly love a link.
Just a bit sick of ebaying and paying for shipping. I need to do some good crate digging and record shopping, I neeeeed to smell some musty vinyl!
I'm looking for some really good record stores for soul, funk, hip hop (old school) and or punk rock, garage rock.
Hit me!
