I'm fitting an external BB onto a brand new frame, evans has a long waiting list for 'repairs', where can i get my BB faced for cheap?
Send it back to where you bought it and ask, 'Why didn't you face the BB on my new frame, f*cktard?'

I can do it for you Friday eve or Saturday morning, £beers-ish, as long as the shell isn't chromed (as in under the paint e.g. Colnago, Merckx steel frames)

i was under the impression that shops rarely, if ever, faced bb's or headtubes. an unfaced bb shell for non-external bb's is not much of a problem, but is pretty much essential if you want your external bb to last a long time and run smooth.
