Whoever has bought that Pinarello needs to post it in current projects - I can't wait to see it. Wish I'd had the cash for it.

Payment sent on trailer cycle.
Hi everyone,
I’ve just sorted out some rather nice road frames most of which are suitable for singlespeed or fixed wheel use. Shipping on frames within the UK will be £11 - other items can ship free of charge in the same box. I can ship anywhere in the world at a reasonable cost.
ALL ITEMS ARE IN BRISTOL
Payment can be via bank transfer (preferred), cheque or the dreaded Paypal which costs me 3%…
** If you dib an item, please PM me and pay the same day unless you make other arrangements with me. **
Viewing/Personal collection is welcome as quite a few have found and have been able to get other parts they are looking for at the same time.

PINARELLO ROAD FRAME c1978
Seat Tube (ctc) : 53cm (21in)
Top Tube (ctc): 54cm (21.25in)
Rear dropout width: 125mm
Wheel size: Sprints or 700C front and rear (brake drop of approx 48mm)
Bottom bracket threads: Italian
Frame Tubing: Columbus SL
This is an unusual earylish Pinarello road frame which is in very nice original condition. Its made from Columbus SL tubing and has many really nice details as well well as being beautifully made. Would make a very cool conversion to fixed or singlespeed. £195
CBT-ITALIA late 1970s
Seat Tube (ctc): 56cm
Top Tube (ctc): 56.5cm
Rear dropout width: 122mm
Wheel size: 700C
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Brake drop with 700C wheel: 47mm
This frame has the delightful feel of a middle 70s frame and has CBT engraved bottom head lug, seat lug and fork crown. It has I think been repainted and been given the decals of a French cycle shop from Pau. It is in very sound condition with no dents or dings. The chrome on the forks looks very good though some pitting can be seen on the inside of the fork blades and there is rust under the crown. Dating this frame is a bit tricky - it looks really mid 70s but has Campy short dropouts and is drilled for Allen bolt fixing brakes. £120
HANNINGTON CHILD’S TRAILERCYCLE
This is a truly lovely child’s trailercycle built probably in the 1960s - it is far superior to the cheap modern ones which attach to the seatpost. The lower fitting with the hitch vertically over the rear wheel on a purpose built rack means that the towing bike does not get tugged in anything like the same manner as the cheap ones. Isla Rowntree and Burley copied this design when they built child trailercycles in the 1990s because it was simply the best design...The seat tube is 14in long on the trailercycle - this is short enough for most 6-7 year olds with the short cranks - the cranks can be changed as the child gets older and its suitable up to about 9 years old. £69
CARLTON ROAD FRAME 1960s/70s
Seat Tube (ctt): 58cm (23in)
Top Tube (ctc): 57cm (22.5in)
Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: 27in or 700C (brake drop 65mm)
Seatpost size: 25.4mm
A very sound budget road frame from the 1960s or 70s which will make a very easy conversion. £33
RALEIGH ILKESTON ROAD FRAME 21.25in 1978
Seat Tube (ctt): 54cm (21.25in)
Top Tube (ctc): 55cm (21.5in)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: 700C
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Brake drop with 700C wheels: 54mm
Frame Tubing: Reynolds 531 double-butted
This rather beautiful road frame is built from Reynolds 531 double butted tubing with Prugnat lugs with windows. It was made at the Raleigh Ilkeston plant under the direct supervision of Gerald O’Donovan. There are some gorgeous touches such as the slotted bottom bracket and oversize seatstay cap. It is designed for use use with allen nut fitting brakes. The frame appears to be very sound with no dents. This frame has more generous tyre/brake clearances than is standard so making it ideal for use with guards if necessary.
In autumn 1974 Raleigh established a specialist workshop (SBDU) capable of frame building to the very highest standards at Ilkeston in Derbyshire. Frames were built for the Ti-Raleigh continental pro team from the very beginning. They produced the only British frame to ever win the Tour de France (Joop Zoetemelk, 1980). The unit worked with Reynolds in developing Reynolds 753 and the first frames were tested by the Ti-Raleigh team in 1974. Genuine Ilkeston frames can be identified by frame numbers with 1 to approx 9500, prefixed SB. For a company as large as Raleigh, the SBDU was quite an unusual operation. Its production capacity was modest – at a maximum only about 1000 frames or so a year from about four framebuilders. SBDU frames were mostly built in stock designs except for the actual team frames. This frame would benefit greatly from a repaint or powder coat. And would make a really easy conversion to singlespeed or fixed. £125
MERCKX ROAD FRAME 1970s
Seat Tube (ctc): 55cm
Top Tube (ctc): 55cm
Rear dropout width: 122mm
Wheel size: 700C
Brake drop with 700C/Sprint wheel: 50mm
Seatpost size: 27.0mm
Mercks road frames from the early 1970s are very rare in this country. Merckx licensed the use of his name to different builders in countries across Europe - in England inexplicably it was Falcon but in Belgium it was Kessels. This frame sourced from Germany was probably built by Kessels. Its obviously a quality frame with drilled lugs and heavily slotted BB shell. The frame weight is about 2kg and it takes a 27.0mm seatpost so is built from good quality tubing. The long Campy dropouts suggest it is from the first half of the 1970s. Its ideal for a singlespeed or fixed conversion with its long horizontal dropouts. £225
GERRY LAYCOCK ROAD FRAME 1950s
Seat Tube (ctt): 53cm (21in)
Top Tube (ctc): 57cm (22.5in)
Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: 27in or 700C
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Brake drop with 700C wheels: 58mm
This is a very pretty road frame from the 1950s with very attractive lugs. - I have not been able to discover anything about its builder, Gerry Laycock of Leeds. And with longish horizontal dropouts would make a really easy conversion to singlespeed or fixed. £59
ROY THAME c1980
Seat Tube (ctt): 23in (57cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 21.5in (55cm)
Rear dropout width: 125mm
Wheel size: 700C with 47mm brake drop
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Bottom Bracket Threads: British
This is a really rather nicely built road frame with excellent paint that dates from around 1980. Roy Thame was the brand name of the F W Holdsworth shop in Putney. If required it will make a very easy singlespeed or fixed conversion. £95
RALEIGH RECORD c1989
Seat Tube (ctt): 62cm (24.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 57cm (22.5in)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: 700C (brake drop 57mm)
Bottom bracket threads: British
Frame Tubing: Reynolds 501 frame, 531 forks
Seatpost size: 27.0mm
Very large frames are not very common. This Raleigh Record is in excellent condition - I have added a pair of Reynolds 531 forks. The right-hand shifter braze-on has been taken off. The right hand rear dropout is easily filed to match the LH one and then would make an easy fixed/singlespeed conversion. £53
