Whatever it is it's a very well made frame. the seat clamp detailing is nice, as are the forks, the geometry looks tight too, RIH what make are the back dropouts? are they stamped, they look like columbus?

it does look the real McCoy- I had one very similar to this years ago I think called something like a Mexico, although the brain's gone as I've slept lots since then, and the brain's ROM an RAM haven't the performance they had...

It looks like a Colner? But it certainly doesn't look like a Colnago to me. The top lugs of the forks are the perfect give away and also the cloverleaf isn't characteristic of Colnago.

the Scrolled L on the forks should mean something to someone? the clover leaf seems to be the 'wrong' shape, even though they have come in various shapes that one is too blobbby, almost not club enough and too much like a pawn brokers sign

colnago never has the clover on all three lugs as far as i know usually only on the lug of downtube not on the toptube near the headset, most of the fake colnago's i have seen were made in belgium (diamant)

The clovers are usually made with a drill and a vile, the bottom of the clover is a dead give away when it is round instead of flat

Colners have hearts i think on the forks

it's not a colner - they have spades, just like the eddy merckx bike screenshot from the movie 'la course en tete' i posted a couple of pages back

Have fantasied a bit of completing a card's game of bikes one time.. De Rosa for the hearts, Colnago clubs, Colner spades and Diamant for a diamond.. Makes no sense I know, but nice thought nonetheless.. ;)

what is it wi the italian framebuilders and card suits...apparently ciocc means poker face as a nickname for the grandfathr of the company..they were all on the bianchi team in the pre war days ..did they all just cardschool in racenights?

i was told that the italian frame builders split up the deck of cards for their logos, Colnago is Clubs, De Rosa is Hearts, Willier is Spades i can't remember who was Diamonds.
But that is what i was told years ago as a kid, don't know if its true. But it does make some sense.

and there was a carbon frame called the Joker too a while back, a mate has one
