And please do let us know you've completed it... as that will bump the thread and remind someone else to do so.
The survey runs until 6th April.

+1 to V.B, take your time reading, filling it out people. -

The questions are a bit vaige. The question about jumping the red has got to go in the very high risk simply because it says either side of the lorry. Any question about the nearside has got to be very high risk even if the RJL isnt. Odd.

Is this survey aimed only at people who cycle in London, or do they want info from those of us who cycle outside of the capital too?

first question is "do you cycle in london y/n?" i dont see why those who don't couldn't/shouldn't fill it out.

Everyone, they ask whether you cycle in London so they have the ability to factor that into the resulting data they produce.

done. What do they mean with "The rider passes on either side of the lorry and stops in front of it" though? It makes a difference if you pass on the nearside or not. Also makes a difference on when the light has changed, if I can see mirrors, etc. Hard to answer just like that.

That's why I asked, though I guess that question allows them to compare the London stats to the rest of the country. Will fill it out. -

vg survey, apart from the question that assumes everyone's driven something motorbike-sized or larger.

I read it as "the rider passes on whichever side they think is safest and stops directly in front of it" and (for all of the questions) that the light is red throughout.

Well hopefully it will help.
Done.
Could everyone who reads this please spare a few moments to do this:
http://myweb.lsbu.ac.uk/~fringsd/cyclestudy.htm
The gist:
The survey will definitely help us out, it adds third party authority and credibility to the dangers and the risks that people take.
I really do urge you all to complete the survey and to tell others about it.
