Offered: Spare places on this weekend's Carry on Camping ride to Blackberry Wood (nr Brighton)

Scott not Scot and I have organised a camping ride this weekend which was fully booked but we've had some people have to pull out so there are some spaces. Apologies for the new thread but as someone pointed out there might be people not bothering to check the existing thread as the places were all full.

We currently have four empty pitches, which have been paid for, so I guess they are free pitches unless you want to give the original owner money. (£5 per tent, £5 per person)

We'll be leaving from Elephant and Castle roundabout at 9am on Saturday, with another meeting point at the corner of Tooting High Street and Mitcham Road at 9.45, and then riding down to Blackberry Wood, which is near Brighton (but a bit closer, and we don't have to go over Ditchling Beacon). Hopefully as we're leaving early we'll get there in plenty of time to pitch in the sunshine, then make bonfires and barbecues in the fire pits, drink beer, and then ride home the next day. There is a shop selling charcoal at the campsite and I think we will be stopping off at a shop on the way to grab food and drink. It'll be a leisurely ride as we'll have camping gear and stuff, and also I am lazy and will probably walk up all the hills (though there are only two proper hills and neither of them are very big).

Metcheck is predicting an incredible 10 degrees! on Saturday with sunshine and a tailwind on the way down.
