If you get a 'magic gear'. i.e. the gearing you use produces exactly the right length of chain.

maybe....if you search google for magic gear there is a spreadsheet that will tell you what gear ratios to use to get correct chain tension...you'll need to measure the chainstays...or you can file the dropouts to give a little movement to get tension or even file the axle i believe..sheldon knows best...
I have UTFS but to no avail, but im just wondering if its possible to run fixed with drop outs like these (see attached picture)
im using a BMX half link chain, which im hoping will make it possible
