• These were removed from a bike recently purchased by myself in favour of a different crankset. From the look of the items, plus the bike overall, I wouldn't be surprised if they've done less than 1,000 miles.

FSA Gossamer Cranks, Octalink - £20 posted
170mm crank length, 53/39, rings fine, a couple of scratches on the end of each crank (as in the pedal end!), in good condition neverless. Comes complete with crank bolts (not pictured).

Shimano Ultegra BB-6500 Octalink Bottom Bracket - £10 posted
109.5mm axle length, Italian threads. Small bit of surface rust on shell but the BB is still super smooth, with the Octalink interface in perfect nick.

If you want both I will do them for £27 posted.

Local pick up makes it £15 for the cranks and £7 for the BB, from Tonbridge during the day, ME19 (nr Maidstone) evenings.

    PMs please.

    Thanks

    I'm in Leybourne.

Three or four weeks back I was flying down the hill into Teston from East Malling with a mate, neither of us really paying any attention. Went round the bend by the the old cricket ball factory to discover some temporary traffic lights. Cue a big rear end skid and an RLJ, clumping the wing mirror of someone who was coming up the hill.

    I didn't bother stopping.

  • Haha nice, the hill down the the bridge at teston is a killer. I'll be brakeless when I return, (student, in camberwell term time) should be fun. Have you ridden along north pole road, is a lovely ride into town and always empty.

What do you ride? Haven't got a bianci pista have you. The only fixed I've seen being ridden was a shiny pista by the tickled trout. Also saw a unicack being wheeled around bearsted, brick lane of maidstone tbh.

Is there much of a fixed contingent in maidstone now, I might be back home sometime soon, I'll shout you up for a ride!

  • ahem. ...back to Gossamer- muses

    Buy me and stop one

    3/9

Anything for the week-end sir? (or was it weak end???? )

    Worst tasting chewing gum ever

Worse than that is coming down Yalding Hill, especially from Yalding towards Teston.

I've a no-name thick aluminum tubing orange thing, there's a pic in my album on my profile (I'm the rider bang in the middle). Only ever seen an old guy round here, he was pushing it up the hill from Yalding to Wateringbury.

Don't think there is a fixed scene in Maidstone, the local yoof seem more interested in Renault Clio's and Vauxhall Corsa's with tinted windows and neon underlights.

  • Bringing these to wests tonite in case anyone is interested in looking at them.
