That's cool. I have a little under saddle thingy but that looks awesome. Is it a Wiggle special?

Ditto. There seem to be some other good ones around £30 on Wiggle though.

I'm hunting around for one at the moment, if possible I want a bag that'll take everything I need. What are we doing in regards to clothing and accommodation?

Might be up for this.
Should be about 120 miles each way?
I've never done a ride this long before but it could be fun.
When you say slow, what kind of pace do you mean? -

Minimal as far as clothing, a jersey with pockets on the back will be useful. A couple pairs of these will be very much worth it...

As far as sleeping, I was thinking of taking a leaf out of Devon and Heyden's book and Bivvy Bagging or if I'm feeling really fancy, a one man tent. There are hostels but we don't really know how many people are going etc
Might be up for this.

When you say slow, what kind of pace do you mean? It's 55 miles to central London and then roughly the same down to Brighton. Then back again. The ride down to London is easy, I've never done done London to Brighton but Gmaps Pedometer says that there are some pretty big hills.
When we do Thursday night rides, they are between 15 and 20 miles and they are reasonably quick. If we split the 55 miles up into three chunks with something to eat and a sit down . I am consistently one of the slowest on Thursday night rides so you won't have to worry about keeping up.
I would suggest getting in some longer rides at the weekend, maybe around 30 miles and if you can do that ok, you're halfway there. Bear in mind however that you'll be doing this four days in a row. Even if you make it to London or Brighton and then can't be bothered to ride back you can take the train (or even a taxi) back.

talked to devon about this yesterday, we might meet you guys in london the morning your heading down to Brighton! Dev is a madman and i want to push myself, so we might do it all in one go! Cambridge to Brighton! if we meet you lot in the morning at like 10, then we could all ride to Brighton, stay there and i think we would just come back with you lot! that is what i was thinking! hope this is not letting down the sprit of this thing, but i have always thought about doing cam-brighton and this would be a good chance to do it!
Young kids not aloud on this! Bonking is an issue!!!! -

How much are bivvy bags? I Googled it and they vary in price quite a bit, so how much would something appropriate for this that will keep me warm/dry cost? Accommodation is the only issue I can foresee.

Cycling is for losers. Looking hip is what's up.
