No votes for the Tories? Wait till Blue Quinn sets up multiple aliases......

• #10
I cannot understand why anyone would vote Labour this time (not that I have a clue who else I would vote for).
-
• #11
Seriously? We all know that none of the other parties will get in, so anything to keep the Tories out...
-
• #12
And keep Labour in?! Jesus Christ, they're a disaster. Don't cut off your nose to spite your face.
-
• #13
Lesser of two evils, always the same story.

Yet New Labour have proven themselves to be utter shite, while Cameron's Tories have not... hmm. I don't think you can judge The Conservatives by Thatcher anymore, if the same way that you can't judge Labour by its founding socialist ideals anymore.
Personally I have no idea who to vote for, but I do want to.
What frightens me most is how much it has become like a presidential position. 'Prime Minister' is a role, not a character.

Xmas 2010 is just around the corner. What will you be buying this year?
not too early am I?
-

If it were old Labour then it wouldn't be much of a choice for me.
New labour means I'm going to vote for the lesser of two evils, not that it matters much as Harriet Harman had a nearly 70% share of the vote here in Camberwell & Peckham and the tories were 3rd placed with just less than 10%.*

It's a tough choice. Labour have proven they are a bit shit. The conservatives have proven they are very good at being dicks in parliament and making a lot of noise when *anything *happens ("this would never have happened under a tory government ...").
So then there's the Lib Dems... Who? Seriously, when was the last time you heard the Lib Dem leader (what's his name?) say anything? They are almost invisible.
The very few times I have heard anything about their policies they seem to be the ones that make the most sense, but that is few and far between.
A recent Guardian/ICM poll shows Conservative support is down three points while Labour support is up one point. The Tories are still in the lead, but the lead is narrowing. Some political commentators in the press are speculating that there may be a hung parliament.
So what party will you be voting for in the General Election in May? If you have decided not to vote in this election, why? What party's policies do you think will best serve our country in the years to come? Interested to hear all views on this.. The poll is anonymous.
