  • ..is there such thing, and where can i find them?

  • i'll answer part one of the question

    YES

i'll now hand over to the more knowledgable members of the forum and / or the lynching comittee

  • Hmmm I highly doubt it dude, you may be able to get hold of some 1" but you would probably have to get them threaded yourself. What frame are you looking to put them on?

  • possibly, what about Kona Project 2, NOS ........and maybe some rocking horse shit too.......

  • freddie - my road frame, i'm not too bothered just yet, but if i get into doing tricks i think it will be an option until i raise money for a frame. how would i get them threaded?

  • Argos, frame builders/repairs....Ceeway, any bike frame builders MIGHT thread them for you, there was a discussion about this a few weeks ago......

  • ok, i'll look about, it wouldnt be too expensive would it?

  • It might cost a bit, to be honest I would just learn the very basics on the road frame (Keo's, wheelies, fakie etc) and then when you're ready for jumps and stuff get a trick specific frame.

  • If you get the p2 fork linked to about you would be better off getting a new stem and headset than threading the forks. Which is what Freadie22 is saying.

  • Just use the forks you already have. If/when they break get a new frame and fork that is up to the job.
Standard bikes are often stronger than people think and unless you are jumping off of buildings you may find your current forks fine.

  • Volume fu fork comes in a 1"
I was going to go down that road, but its not worth it.
    Get a new frame.

  • ...

I know you said that, and I referenced you, but he was confused and was on about threading the forks so I was attempting to clear the muddy waters a little.

  • thanks for the help everyone, i'll take kerley's advice seeing as i dont plan to jump off buildings just yet.
