Is this frame worth buying?

  • Sorry, I know it's in the same vain as http://www.lfgss.com/thread38121.html#post1222358.
But just stumbled across the following and wondered if it was worth £385?

Moser road time trial frame: from special Oria steel tubeset, it features a very high quality of construction. It used to belong to Francesco Moser, so it's his size (Moser is 181 cm tall), but it was never built into a complete bike. The rear brake cable routing is very interesting. The frame is signed by Moser. It is from the special series of bikes built when Moser broke the hour record. It has its matching fork. Early 1990's design.

    Thanks

  • Something is worth what you are willing to pay for it..

That said, looks sick (good sick).

  • +1

Something is good value if it brings you a better quality of life for a monetary cost you're willing to pay. Everything is relative.

    It's a nice frame.

  • Its different and nice but if you really wanted it you wouldn't be asking if its worth the price as you would just buy it. Maybe its not the frame for you.

  • If its signed by Moser himself though, that has to be worth something.

If it has a certificate of authenticity or a signed letter from Moser as it could just be a stick on jobbie.
