if the inside diameter of the hub is the same as a regular qr hub then i can't see a problem

the bolts add a little but not much more security.
it's far easier to undo a quick release than to get to both sides of the hub (if locked against something) than a allen key. -

works fine with skewer

Why would you bother? Pitlock?

I totally forgot to check this thread. Got distracted with the rest of the bike...
@skully - yeah I'm considering Pitlock. And in the meanwhile, I have a goldtec with no bolts anyway, but I do have a few QR skewers. I thought it should work, I was just getting a bit worried and wanted reassurance before I killed anything...
@31trum - yeah that's true, but if its on a QR i'll actually bother to take it off - if i leave it on an allen key there is a much greater chance i'll be too lazy to remove the wheel at all, so bizarrely, it's prob safer with QR

I've used another brand of security skewer on goldtecs and it works perfectly fine.

+1. Ive been using that on the Gazelle for longer than I want to think about. Perfect.
The axle is hollow, it looks like it would work...
Has anyone tried this? Or if not, there must be some glaringly obvious reason why not that I can't see. Please assist before I go and kill mine doing something silly...
