Why didn't you get them from Evans? Not being rude, just curious...
I went to Condor for some Shimano shoes and they advised me to get a pair that I have now realised is too small., but won't refund me. They are size 47, but unfortunately road shoes, so I can't help you out. Also - Sidi come up narrower than Shimano - at least the ones that I've tried.
Ah well...

sorry, didnt really make sense, I dont think i can break the 100 barrier, but if you want to buy new sidis in 47 then they have them on sale at rocky mountain sports in wales, you have to call them up though, website is www.ride-bikes.com

hmmm i think i'll hold out for a trade, they aren't massivly too big, but i do get heel lift which is a pain. im gonna buy some s works mtb shoes soon anyway, so if they're still here i'll let you know

cool, can you not try an inner sole? guess those ones dont have the heel adjuster then

i have specialized inner soles, which help a lot, but obviously correct fitting shoes are better than ones too big or small
I went into condor and they said i'd be a 48 in a sidi. really 48 are too big and i need a 47.
my feet are too wide for shimano or mavic shoes so either sidi or specialized
also as you would expect a 2 bolt cleat design for MTB pedals is necessary
the condition is pretty good. i've had the shoes since october 2nd so close to 4 month's of 6-7 days a week use. pictures are available
cheers
