This is a beautiful and quite unusual track frame I've been holding onto for few years now.
Columbus SLX tubing,
Top tube length c-t-c 54 cm,
Seat tube length c-t-c 52cm
The bottom bracket is quite high even for a track bike (20cm between the ground and the centre of the BB with Armadillos) so really it feels more like a 54-55 cm frame.
The geometry would be perfect for a female rider or anyone who has long legs and a short torso/arms, although it's a nice ride for anyone who fits a 54-55 cm frame normally.
The tubes are lugged apart of the head tube and the dropouts.
Colour is metallic silver- polished aluminium effect.
Frame has just been resprayed.
Bottom bracket threads are english, seat post size 27.0
It is a proper track machine with tight clearances, not drilled for brakes.
A little bit of a history: I purchased it as a complete bike in 2004 from Edwardes in Camberwell. It was kitted out with lots of fancy dura ace bits and for all those years it was my fancy weekend bike. There was no indication of the frame's make, no numbers of any kind, just the columbus decals.
The photographs and description simply dont do it justice.
£230
Willing to take offers.
The frame is in New Cross Gate.
Looking for CASH.
