As far as i know, they dont. I had the same issue a while back looking for a 650 CXP33 in silver, in the end i just bought a black one and took the anodising off with some caustic soda. whoila! silver rim :)

Yeah I was thinking about doing that - but I thought the un-protected finish probably wasn't the best placed on the rim due to the amount of crap (road dirt etc) that would get on it. How have you found it held up against the elements, has the finish stayed ok over time?

Unfortunately i cant report on that, as for various reasons its still sitting in my room waiting to be built up....

Ah well, thanks anyway.
If you decided it was an abandoned project, then I'd be interested in buying the rim?

andyfallsoff did you ever find these in silver? I'm looking but no joy.

no I didn't manage to find the cxp33. BLB had a couple of silver 650c options back then, but I ended up getting a black one... not ideal

Think I will go with velocity aeroheads instead, they have a silver. Thanks andy.

Sorry, obviously this is too late for you andyfallsoff, but bsic - I bought one about two weeks ago from Whiskers Cycles. They don't have a website, but you can call on 01438 798772. I was also stuck for a silver 650 rim that wasn't too deep section and couldn't find an aerohead available anywhere. Whiskers reeled of at least three that they had (including the CXP 33, which I bought for about £30 iirc) - it arrived two days after ordering, I would recommend the shop.
I got the original recommendation for it from Brian in Roberts Cycles.

ChristianSpaceman, thank you so much! Phoned them up and they have one. It's winging it's way to me as we speak.

Has anyone got pics of the wheel set? I'm after a set of 650c silver.
As above really, I can only find black anywhere - I have given google some work looking, but no results. Anyone know if they are available anywhere?
Or failing that, other suggestions of a good quality silver, 32h 650c rim with a braking surface that I will be able to actually find? I was looking at open pros too, but it seems mavic only want us lo pro types to have black wheels, the same problem exists.
Cheers
