yea, saw those but don't know much about them. Goldtecs are only about 13 quid more (per hub) and i know they are great as i have a pair on my other bike. Will do a bit of research on those dia compes though, thanks for the tip-off. You can probably look forward to a dia-compe hubs wanted thread soon.

SystemEx / Formula from condor (no cut outs)
Better than On-One and Goldtecs and much cheaper than the latter. -
• #6
systemex better than goldtec? really?

?

You can't take the bearings out of a system ex with your fingers.
The flanges don't break as often
They dont cost as much
The bearings are as good if not better (goldtecs from afew years ago have ROPEY bearings). But then I don't like Goldtecs. Well, not since they stopped making them in the UK. The UK ones were way nicer.

goldtec: made out of cheese, stoopid chainline, stoopid axle/bearing assembly, bolt spacers made out of plastic non serrated if ah remember correctly, flanges very far from centre of hub, long lasting bearings........for the price of 150-160
formula: ugly cutouts(if not condor), regular bearings, nice forged body, non hassle no tool required user replacable bearings, normal chainline, heavy duty axle, locknuts sometimes crack can be replaced with d-ace or any steel kind,
the only issue i see is the bearings....buy a phil specced for 12 a pair and be done with
55 quid plus 12 bearings
do the math -

will go check out those formula hubs and see, i knew about the bearing swop but thought they had cut outs. Also found some grand compes for 80 per pair so will prob go for the formulas or the dia compes. Thanks for the advice and general racist slurring though - them things are priceless.

2nd worst. Have you seen the current budget suzues that float around bike jumbles?
aucun monsieur, nous n'aimons pas cette merde

I don't know French, but in any case I haven't seen them
franticaly googles crap suzue hubs in new tab
Aye, they look shite.
But, my hatred of Miche is not off hand, its based on having seen bucket loads of fucked ones in general and at work. They just suck ass - along with most modern Miche components.
anyone got one, or a pair, of 36h black goldtecs just, you know, kicking around on their desk? Front could be 32h.
Just asking before i talk myself up from 15 quid on-ones to a pair of these. Black solid flange 36h are harder to find than i thought.
