Plastic Saddle?

Anyone recommend me a really hard plastic saddle? I assume bmx saddles with rails work on normal seatposts? In which case I might order an S&M one but are there any others?

No, Je n'aime pas la 'padding' (i don't speak french apparently).

I find cushioning uncomfortable.

scratch that - i just found a nice plastic one on an old raleigh frame in the bike room!

There are plenty of saddles more expensive than a Flite Evo*. However, I only put it up to illustrate the point; there is a difference between hardness and stiffness.

*CX-Zero, Tune Concord, AX-Lightness, Fi'zi:k K:1 to name but several.

without cushioning, the saddle shape becomes even more critical. Most plastic BMX saddles were bloody awful, but then they were not really made for sitting on and cycling 40 miles were they.

Although I did always like the look of the Kashimax Aero and the Uni seat was a weight weenies dream even at age 10...

fuck fuck fuck. I've just put an order in to ATC.... still this Raleigh saddle isn't too different and it'll do for now.

I rate my plastic Cinelli Unicantor (which was a beat up leather Unicantor that I stripped) over my Rolls saddle.

I also have a plastic Brooks B-16 I bought from Fresh on here.

Kashimax make some nice looking plastic saddles (eg Aero), but even the padded Aero didn't work for me.
