Where to stay with a bike in Paris?

I'm off to France this year with a couple of friends and we are going to start our tour in Paris so we can spend a couple of days relaxing before cycling up to Holland and back to England on the ferry.

Anyway I've used the search and have found nothing, also Google didn't provide too helpful either.

We are looking for a place to stay in Paris that can accomdate us and our bikes, chances are on the days that we are out and about in Paris the bikes will go with us. Will most places let us take bikes in or can anyone recommend a place they've stayed where the owners were happy for you to take your bike.

Once we are out of Paris we are going to be camping.

We did think about just locking the bikes up somewhere but I'd hate for the tour to be cut short due to one of us having our bikes pinched!

up in the area of the goeblins i stayed in a nice-ish hotel, the guy had a garage next door and allowed me to put the bike in there

let me try and find the name of the road..... good eats just down the road from here on rue mouffetard multinational cuisine, stunning ethiopian just near the parthenon

rue de banquier or one of the streets parallel to that on the same side of the road

Le Bike Hotel?

i was in paris last summer, if your gunna be camping for the rest of the tour then you might aswell camp in paris, theres a sight about 20mins cycle from the arc de triomphe and its all through a park so its a nice ride. also the campsite has a free shuttle bus to the nearest tube station.

heres the website if your interested... its pretty expensive for a campsite but its still much cheaper than a hostel

I stayed in Hotel Formule 1 at Porte De Chatilon. €44 per night, per room regardless whether its a room for 2 or 3.
Shared showers and loo's but the rooms are very clean. You can take bikes up into the room or there is a store room which public do not have access to. There is a metro station 5 mins walk down the road with a very good bakery which is handy to grab some cheap breakfast from :D
Not a charming Parisian motel but highly recommend!

God I want to be back in Paris now!

+1 it's also next to the 4km lap of the racecourse that a lot of roadies use for training. It's pretty close to central, and there's a supermarket not too far away if you want to avoid ripoff campsite prices.
