For Sale: DJ Gear - Decks, Mixer, Amp, Speakers

OK, so the recent move has left me with no space to set-up my decks so may as well as get rid rather than have them take up room gathering dust.

Up for grabs then, a pair of Pistanator's favourite decks

-- Vestax PDX2000.
These are the original model not the MK2 Pro's, good solid turntable that come with Stanton SL520 cartridges (DJ Craze signature model) and a pair of Jazz Fudge slipmats. 1 of them is missing it's light and the other is missing it's 45 adaptor.
£200 the pair

-- Vestax PCV-275, 3 channel mixer. This is a great mixer with loads of knobs, nuff said. The fader needs replacing as it 'bleeds' a little when on the right side, replacement cf-pcv faders are about £50 or a good cleaning of the contacts may do the job.

-- Cambridge Audio Azur 640A amplifier - a good quality amp from Cambridge's Azur range comes with remote control. Hardly used, great condition.

Finally a pair of Eltax LR6.6 floorstanders, there's a few marks on the casing but they still kick out a great sound with a nice warm bass.

Someone take the mixer! They have the best feel, and after they've warmed up the nicest, warmest sound. IMHO better than any other mixer... and the PDX2000's are still the best decks ever made.

ah, sorry henryb. Technically I still have the mixer but it's now in a loft in Plymouth along with all my records and decks.

best decks ever made ahahahah ur kidding urself! technics 1200's for turntables are the best and pioneer 1000's for the digital world.

I did say IMH*O. I guess it all depends on what sound you want out the other end, but Technics are just industry standard, and while very, very good I find the PDX2000's produce a better sound, have more torque and look like a Smeg fridge.

As for digi decks, Pioneer 2000's have now superseded the 1000's. but what hell do I know?
