  • WTF! that is so cool

  • In! Welcome back, Fred. You've been missed! (or you've been here all along and I haven't been looking at the same threads as you)

  • (almost) home to (almost) home for me so in.

  • Training fail... it's after the Vatternrundan. Oh well, in that case it's a warm-down ride.

  • wow, i really really would like to do this.
    wow, that's a long way.
and i imagine it would be a great thing to see the sea after a ride like this.
but i think i'll be heading back to the real world bang on the 24th.

  • I soooo want to do this, missed it the last two years.

  • @nny: from aus, right? so.... perfect, your body clock will be all set to stay up all night :)

  • ah, sorry should have clarified. i meant i'll be going back for a job, which I think starts on the 27th. fingers crossed its later than that, and i can do this ride.

  • In, first forum ride.

  • If I can get back to the UK that weekend, I am so in. It was an amazing experience last year.

  • inny in in

  • deflintely in, now that the bike is finally comfortable.

  • WHAT? No Jackson?

  • Bob Jackson or rhyming slang (Jackson Pollocks)?

  • I'm not sure I'm doing it this year. I'd quite like to volunteer at the Mille Cymru. If that doesn't happen, I'll definitely do it there and back again, but with better wheels than last time.

Erin, if you'd like to do a similar ride before you leave, look no further than this:

It's tougher than the DD, as it's hillier. On the upside, as the weather's apparently only shit in odd years, this year it should be fine. But I highly recommend it. It's a fantastic route, too.

  • Mebbe.

Will do it fixed this time if so.

  • WHAT? No Jackson?

nope, uncomfortable after 10 miles, and my commute is 11 miles.

The new frame is a joy to ride now, I defintely think I can do the DD this time but need a proper ride (says, 50 miles) before embarking on the DD.
