Yeah, I figured its pretty dull round there but the scheme makes things loads cheaper than I pay on rent. Babies love dull anyway.

it's dull but there are some nice bits, plenty of nearby parks, not far from Richmond, close to some nice stretches of the river and also the G.U. canal...

Shithole and noisy as fuck as its under the flightpath to Heathrow and your close to Feltham. But at least you have Syon Park and the nice pub down by the river and Gillette Corner.
But then again how much of a discount can you get as having your own place might be better then renting............... sometimes ;p

It's quite exciting if you consult 'Sweet Thames, Flow Softly' by Ewan McColl.

If you're currently in surbiton then I don't think that you need to worry too much about isleworth being dull...(must confess I've never been to surbiton I am just writing that out of some unconcious prejudice)
Anyway from my experience the worst part of isleworth to live in is the southern end near the stadium, off mogden lane there is a large sewage treatment plant which reeks sometimes.
But if you are looking at the flats I think you mean, by the west mid, then you are well away from that.

It was against isleworth school that I got knocked out by a cricket ball when playing them in my school team.
Now I'm boring myself

sometime from 97-2000
Currently renting in surbiton but might be able to afford to buy a place in Isleworth through a key worker scheme. I don't know much about the place but the development on offer is near the hospital at the brentford end.
Anyone have any local knowledge? Will my bike get knicked? Will my future children grow up to be crack addicts? All the usual stuff.
Thanks
