2010-01-20 - Rider Down, Blackfriars Bridge Approach

about 20 minutes ago. don't have much information as large group already formed around accident site as I came past, but no emergency services were present so must have just occurred. Looked like a collision between motorcycle and cyclist as both were on the ground. Hopefully it wasn't too serious.

no, have been looking in the local news (various web and papers) but nothing has been mentioned.

Anyone else know anything? or know if there are other avenues to find out? To be perfectly honest, its been haunting me a bit as I cycle past there every day, going to and from work.

Its my route too. What side of the bridge/where exactly did it happen?

North side of river, in that mess of a junction by the bus stop (outside the pub on the corner). If facing the river it would be the left side of the road (ie. bridge approach side rather than exit).

Ouch. Its a shite bit of road - pedestrians walking out, buses, cabs. I'm going to pay even more attention now.
