Pretty busy from the 7th to the 22nd, but other than that, May sounds good.

So I've just had an idea.
It's a good idea, but credit where it's due: http://www.lfgss.com/thread35928.html

Yeah I saw that, but thought it would be good to have a Norwich group camp, I'll give credit though!

There is a super nice site over at North Reps. Probably would be down with it, but can't commit due to current "situations"!....

Sweet!
Well we can always sort the details nearer the time.

Well, I'm going on the original, so I'll happily come on the facsimile. What about early April - there be a bank holiday thar.

The day is apparently a celebration of the beginning of summer, and is marked with a bonfire and booze - sounds ideal...

Ooh, and it's one of the days (spokes) on the Wheel of the Year...

Just keeps getting more apt.

Are you some sort of hippy or what?
I know a guy called Layl-Line Tom... Might be nice for you two to meet up and talk paganism!

Any thoughts on which campsite? Heard good things about Deepdale Camping, which is about a 40 mile ride, or there's always Waxham, which is more like 20 miles.

Me and Sailor (not on here, he's a geared) just had dinner, and we've planned a trip. Friday the 2nd of April we're heading out of Norwich on MTBs to Caister. We're staying on the beach that night (minimal camping stuff; sleeping bags and a tarp), then heading 50 miles up the coast on tracks, then to his mum's place, staying there a night, then riding back to Norwich.
All are welcome, but it won't be super-comfy, and there will be lots of miles to cover. If nobody is up for it, that's cool, we're doing it even if it's just us two.
So, anyone in?

That sounds awesome. I'll have a look at Matt's GT, see if it's serviceable.

Looks nuts, If only I had a MTB......

The tracks are a tad rough, but nothing that couldn't be done on a road bike with 25mm/28mm tires.

Think I'm going to give this a miss. Finishing the Steamroller build this month, the Ribble is in need of an urgent service (bottom bracket fucked), and Matt's bike needs a fair bit of work - something's got to give. Have a wicked time, take lots of pics.

Oh, we still tweed-boozing?
So I've just had an idea, based on this http://www.lfgss.com/thread35928.html
How about in summer we get a load of us, tents included and plently of beer and cycle up to a camp site on the coast, have a good night, bbq, beer, the works.
Then in the morning all enjoy riding back full pelt hungover?
I'm thinking of like May kind of time? Unless the weather gets cracking before then.
