Wanted: Battered old SPDs for DIY

After reading Ma3k's tutorial on DIY SPD skateshoes ( http://www.lfgss.com/thread10440.html ) I have decided i really must try it! so i am on the look out for some old SPD shoes, doesnt matter how battered, just as long as the plate on the inside of the shoes is still in OK condition

What can you offer me LFGSS?

sorry to jump in, but ill be interested in anyone with some size 11's they want rid of.

Lidl have spds for £10. I bought a pair of them for this very purpose. Worked a treat!

I've got some old specialized mtb ones size 11 I was going to put on ebay tonight if someone wants them for a tenner, cleats still attached.

The Lidl ones are alright, although they don't always stock them, and they are a bit dodgy, my mates gave up on him quite fast, although they had got us all the way to Toulouse by then

Yeah, I wouldn't use the Lidl ones as is. I cut the soles out of them to use in skate shoes.
