Are you looking for a short reach, or shallow drop?
Or both? Road bars?

Cinelli Criteriums - got several currently, PM if interested.

Well, in all honesty I'm not sure. I have only ridden drop bars once on the bike concerned. I think think that perhaps a shorter reach bar would be more suitable.
I'm willing to consider most track bars, so long as they are close to 40cm, and in good condition.
Here's a pic of the bike as it stands:
I would really like to try some drop bars with this set-up, my preference is for track bars, so if anyone has anything, let me know.
Cheers. -

If you are using it on the road, try road bars. Something like the Criteriums are good. Nice shape if you don't need flats. Will you ride tops, drops or hoods?
Track drops are designed to spend almost all your time in the drops.

Yeah, i realise that track drops are not designed for road riding, or more specifically riding on the tops for extende periods. Nevertheless i want track drops, as come march i an planning to ride the bike on the track. Also, the bike isn't my daily commuter so when it gets taken out on the odd wkend, i'm sure i'll manage ok with track drops.

Try criteriums, great bars and very popular and easy to move on if you don't get on with them. Nitto 125s aren't hugely different. 123s are arguably too deep for a beginner or someone who isn't used to being on the drops. Did you ask retro di corsa?

Nitto 123 (njs) 42cm here in East London if you're interested.

As RPM says, Crits are great, perfect for your first season on the track.
Also, if you are setting up for the track, get a stem a little longer than you think you need.

Cheers guys. I'm actually going to see retro di corsa 2moro about some criteriums.
I'm hoping to buy a set of track drop handlebars.
I would like something with preferably a shallower reach than Nitto B123's (though this is really just a guess - I think that with my current TT length and stem, coupled with the height between my saddle and bars, a shorter reach bar would be best).
So, B125s steel or alloy considered, Cinelli Criteriums, or any other pista handlebar considered.
Ideally good/new condition, ideally 40cm, any clamp size considered.
Happy to pay a good price for them, if the condition is right.
Many Thanks.
Jamie.
