I'll ask my flatmate when he's back up from home! He goes riding like two or three times a week and is constantly telling me of all the gnarly trails he hits up!!

No worries, you weren't miserable. I was just looking for some insider info. Went to the peak district last year with an OS map and had an awesome time, but I thought people might have some favourite routes. I'll check out that book, thanks.
My little sis' moved to Aberdeen a few months ago, and I'm thinking of visiting her and any nice MTB trails nearby. Anyone know of any, and would maybe like to go for a spin/pint when I'm up?
